[See more pics by heading to Sway's IG!] Chance and company presented the check at an event for the foundation that helped six elementary schools in Chicago receive new technology equipment to help enhance the computer labs, WiFi internet access, and digital learning. I guess it's no wonder why we (the city of Chicago) honored him with the "Outstanding Youth of the Year" award last year. The initiative's website explains that the three-month program -- which lasted from October 6, 2014, to January 5, 2015 -- offers high schoolers "a chance to connect with students across Chicago as you work to compete in weekly quests; play interactive games, polls, and trivia; and explore a ton of educational resources to help you make the leap from high school to college without missing a beat!" The Get Schooled program was originally launched by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Viacom, and has already helped connect 22,000 Chicago households with internet since its inception. Chance continues to do his part to help the community, and if you remember, he was honored with the "Outstanding Youth of the Year" award by the city of Chicago last year.
