I had the opportunity to chat with her at Fleetwood Restaurant to discuss her unique fundraising events and her impact on the Chicago community. To her, it's not about reinventing the wheel, but bringing more wheels together to make a tool (in most cases, an concert event) spark change in their neighborhoods.
"My motivation actually would be to collaborate with as many organizations and as many people as I can. Like I said, without unity, we really would go no where. We gotta kinda like come together and understand that we are so powerful as a race; as a community. If we actually came together, we'd be unstoppable!...Instead of doing everything f*cking politically correct, do it for the people."
