After the Storm ReflectionsBefore I get into my original topic: Delay is not Defeat., I would like to take a moment to reflect on the post After the Storm. My heart goes out to all those who have lost in the tragedy Oklahoma has faced. The post below, though about my life, can speak to those in the rubble. There is hope! You guys are awesome. God has given you this avenue as a way to be resilient and strong. The months ahead won't be easy, but you are here! You must take these next days to celebrate the everyday triumphs instead of reveling in the lost. For those of us fortunate enough to watch, instead of experience, let us rally behind our fellow Americans. Delay is not DefeatThe last three months of my life have put lots of change in my perspective. I suffered some losses and forgot to celebrate the triumphs of everyday life. Now that the storm has passed, I'm left with a few exciting facts. Why there's still hope!1.) You guys are awesome!
I know it sounds cheesy, but seeing visitors stop by The Strog everyday reminded me of why I created ATS in the first place. 2.) God blessed me with an awesome avenue! The readers on The Strog aren't the only people who God has blessed me to reach; A wonderful entrepreneur, Tanikia Thompson aka Nikki, has also allowed me to be apart of her dream. So please be sure to check out NIKKIANDTHECITY.COM 3.)There are six months left in 2013! One of my biggest goals for this year was to work harder at the ATS Mag brand. I still have six months to do that! Hey they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? More cheese, I know, but this cliche will always ring true. All the things that I could not achieve have made me hungry for work. So I give to you the same Blog with a new Editor. =] -Mk
