We're so glad that Spazzo has released the video for his latest single "My Momma." The young rapper channeled one of the hardest times in his life into this track expressing love for his late mother. This heartfelt track is one of the many reasons why ATS fell for the rising artist. Check out the video and see for yourself why Carla Givan is proud. Be sure to follow Spazzo on Instagram for more information and look out for an interview coming soon.

I recently got to have a dope interview with another of Chicago's artist in the come up! The incredibly inspirational Danny Froze chopped it up with me about his start and his future. Read the interview below! And if you're a subbie, check out the audio wrap-up on Monday! Get in tune with Danny Froze by checking out his latest video for his track called "Deadbeat" Siren: How did you get your start in music?
Danny Froze:Really, when I lived in the city, I wasn't into music. I was just into running around trying to learn how to flip. You know just real active in the streets. I got an interest in music when I moved out to Park Forest. You know, it was really the style. Everybody was rapping. All the young boys in the neighborhood were rapping or playing basketball. I ran into some guys named Reggie and Ral and then two were rapping together for a long time and by me hanging around them they put it on me. That's really how it got started, with those guys. We ended up forming a group, me, Reggie and Ral. It was just a hobby and a activity at first. It was something fun, something to do; putting videos together. I listened to a lot of music with my brothers. I have four older brothers and two sisters. We're just a real musical family. They were always in tune with all different types of music. And by me being the second youngest, it was just always on me. The talent was always there. S: How did you get your name? DF: I go by Danny Froze. It really came from sports. I used to play a lot of sports in high school and all while I was little: basketball and football. I was real fast and big in any sport that I played. I was real athletic, so I picked up the name Froze. They said I was real fast and I make people look like they're going slow. Danny is short for my first name. So I just put it together. Wanted to keep it natural, you know. “Was that an Illuminati meeting?” Co-Boss Lady, Allie, joked as we discussed Tidal. I laughed heartily. Though I don’t believe in the Illuminati, I do believe in elitism. And the display shown in the Tidal press release was all about elitism. It was the most successful artists in the industry saying to all of us that they were going to do what was in their best interest. #TidalforAll is really just #TidalforAllMyMoney. I see Tidal just being yet another reason why it’s hard to break into the industry. And though I was geared to go in, I was relieved that one passionate tweeter did the dissenting for me. Miss Petty Wap, or shall I say The Empowered Fat Bitch, called out Tidal for all its crap. Check out the article after the jump! And read what I think Spotify should do now.
