This week's funniest retweets! Here's the Recap: The show began with Miss Pauletta (THAT IS MARY JANE'S REAL NAME) giving Andre fallatio in her front room as her brother stops over to beg. Yup, the secrets out! Somehow, the experience is spun to bring the siblings together under the umbrella of addiction. (Yeah, I couldn't take it either.) Mary Jane and her brother spend time together and we learn more about his story. On the work front, Kara is pitched a story by someone from another show about a woman who died in her home and was left there for three years. She gives the show to Mary Jane and, because our starlet doesn't want to die alone, they do the story on Talk Back with Mary Jane Paul. Cue the unnecessary Jesse Jackson appearance. After Mary Jane's show aired, the anchor that was originally set to do the story visits Mary Jane. SHE READS HER FROM LEFT TO RIGHT! The well dressed, Caucasian woman lets her know to "stay in her lane" in the most polite way known to man, then she mentions that the rat was fired. I found it so ironic that the show was focused on Mary Jane's need for the peen instead of how she got played. But, what's this show really about, Omari Hardwick. Ha!
Here's My Perspective: Watching Being Mary Jane this week, I recalled a woman, on some ratchet show years ago, telling her friends that there was no point in her yelling at her man. She wasn't going to leave him. At the time, I was dating a chronic cheater and I said to myself, "I'm not leaving my man either." I stopped making scenes about his infidelity and, over time, my silence gave me the ammo to leave his tired behind. I said all that to say, what's the point of Mary Jane beginning each episode with an episode. By the end of the show we're just going to end up seeing Omari's rock hard body anyway. Mary Jane had no remorse taking the addiction test, so why are we supposed to take her remorse at any other time seriously? Maybe if she stopped being dramatic and started being real, she could focus on important things; like how she got read by that White lady. HA! -MK
